At Terminal 3

So we reached airport without any further hick ups .Unloaded our baggage's and headed towards Departure area for security checks and other formalities.All done in no time and we headed straight for some snacks as our flight was delayed by an hour.

Our flight was re-scheduled to 8:30 pm and our excitement was growing by leaps and bounds.Had our evening snacks at Baker's and were all set for departure.Checked with the attendants about our departure lounge / gate and headed towards the terminal exit .Boarded the bus to the aircraft and hopped into the flight and in next 15 mins we were hovering over New Delhi.And in no time we sky rocketed to a height from where every single thing seemed crystal.

Journey started with a prank .....almost cancelled

On 17th too we were in office and came in early as we were scheduled o leave early to the airport .By now everyone knew that we three idiots have finally made our travel plans and are about to leave .Some were happy some were not but somehow by 12 noon we were super excited. In fact our boss made sure that all the plans in place or not. Suddenly at 12:30 just before lunch our DGM called Saurabh Yadav and me to a small meeting and dropped a verbal bomb that due to sudden change in plan our trip has been cancelled and we need to stay in office late as there is some client visit and we are supposed to be in office.Yadav was clean bowled and i was for a sec taken aback but when i saw a quick smile in my boss's face i knew they are playing a prank.I then suggested that its ok with us and asked Saurabh to stay chill and he too without knowing came to my side.Then finally there was a huge laugh and everyone wished us luck and we came out of office and took an auto and reached airport in exactly 40 mins time.

Travel bug that found a concrete plan

It was one fine day when i suggest Saurabh Yadav that lets go for some distance place for travelling,any places that is unknown to us and no one knows us .Somewhere deep down i wanted a break very badly.He on his part was very enthusiastic regarding this trip.We both were in night shift and somehow this thought started to take shape and after couple of years this thought came into full shape.
And 17th Dec 2010 was decided to be our day for travel to Goa and then from there to Mumbai and back to Delhi by 23rd Dec 2010.All said and done we still wanted someone to come along with us but it was not until Nithin Bhadhran entered into our plans.In fact it was Saurabh Yadav who suggested we all 3 come together and go out for our trip and i was more than willing to get away from this speedy life.
So here we were on our way to New Delhi Airport from office...
